Middle School and High School Coding Classes are more conceptual and faster pace.

Middle School-level students are beginning to understand and process abstractions. Their typing skills enable them to access a variety of programming languages that coding professionals use. They continue using the skills learned as a beginner to build up the core concepts and foundations in coding and programming.

For those interested in creating their own computer games, we offer online JavaScript Gaming that builds up to a final game product at the end of the course.

Our Python Coding for Middle School program is rigorous, but beginner-friendly. Designed for students who want a solid foundation in computer science, each class covers one core concept of coding. Interwoven into coding concept lessons are projects to build games and applications that students design and build themselves.

*Python is a pre-req for our Mobile iOS, Advanced AI, and other advanced courses.

Our Mobile iOS class is designed for both Middle and High School students who have previous coding experience. Students learn how to use xCode to code in Swift, the language used to build iOS Apple iPhone & iPad apps. We recommend at least a year of Python or JavaScript class before taking our iOS class.

For High Schoolers, we have classes that are fit for students at different levels and experiences. From basic coding understanding for beginners to independent study for an exam or Capstone mentorship, Penguin Coding School is here to support students.
