Competition Robotics at Penguin Coding School
Since 2017, Penguin Coding School has been coaching competition robotics teams. Each year, we field multiple teams, with our selected teams making it to the state championships!
There are two levels based on age & experience:
First Lego League (FLL): For ages 9-14. These teams use Lego Robot kits to complete mission challenges and research an innovative solution to a global problem!
First Tech Challenge (FTC): For ages 12-18. FTC Teams use metal pieces, nuts & bolts, and motors & servos to build “real” robots and organize community outreach and team fundraisers.
Come learn about FLL and FTC with Penguin Coding School! The first hour of the info sessions will be for FLL and the second hour will be for FTC. Students will practice hands-on robotics while parents can attend a Q&A session.
