FAQ

Do I need to be a coding expert to apply?

Not at all!

We provide a comprehensive curriculum for the teachers to use for all our classes so even if you don't have any coding experience, any student can learn to become a coding teacher.

A lot of our best teachers learned coding on the job.  We look for students who are diligent learners, good at engaging young children and being patient and kind.

How much time commitment is it?

A teacher commits to a minimum of one weekly slot of 2-3 hours depending on availability.

The time slots are afterschool from 4pm-7pm on the weekdays and 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm/2pm-5pm on the weekends.

They must be willing to teach any coding language and age group.  Teachers will be trained to teach 2-3 different classes per time slot.

We hire by quarters - meaning you will need to commit a minimum of 8 weeks during the academic year for that weekly time slot.
